Vegetable Rava upma: Semolina roasted and cooked with vege- tables, coconut, spices and ghee. This is usually eaten as break- fast/ tea time snack, but makes a great part of a meal. 

Eat it by itself or with the coconut chutney(which is how I like it)

Coconut chutney (V)(GF): Has a slight bite to it. Goes great with the Upma 

Bengali style Chayote squash and sweet potato(V)(GF) - Chayote squash and sweet potatoes cooked in a tomato based sauce with a whole bunch of spices and mustard oil

Goes great with white rice!

Karana kazhangu masiyal(V)(GF): Elephant foot Yam, a variety from the tropics, cooked in spices and tamarind sauce. 

Goes great with white rice. A little spicy with sweet and sour(V) (GF) 

Vegan Dal “Makhani”(V)(GF)- Kidney beans, black eyed peas and lentils cooked in coconut milk, coconut oil and spices. Who says Dal makhani can't be made vegan and delish??
